Question:
Can anyone point me into the right direction for a support group in
Sydney Australia? OR The Macarthur Area?
Answer:
I'm not in Sydney, but I found a few links for you
from the web: http://bipolar.meetup.com/members/860 - 5 members in Sydney.
www.richmondnz.org/publications/p0825007.pdf - a group called
beyondblue.

University studies on BP underway at present in Sydney area -
could be a good way to meet up with other BPers.
I live in Auckland NZ, but I will be visiting Sydney several
times in the near future and I plan to take part in some of these
studies if I can fit it in.
When I said I thought the university studies might be a good way
to make contact with BPers - the studies would certainly keep
your identity private, but the people running them might know
about support groups in the area.
