Question:
I am talking to a researcher who believes most illness is due to
environmental or and hereditary influences. The govt can save way more money
then they are now utilizing for coal production and by not enforcing more
stringent standards on pollution. The govt can this researcher believes
eventually , for example that people living in certain areas who did such
and such or whose vocation is such and such is doing better health wise then
their counterparts in other areas with more pollution. I think this not only
affects cancer and life span but mental health as well. This reasearcher
believes the evidence can point to those correlations now and instead of
telling us the weather, the tvstations and govt should give us the pollution
ratings and how that more then practically anything on else could be way
more valuable then hoping for sunny and hot. Why don't they do it? The govt
has history of correlation with energy and military and perhaps this is in
vital interest for our security. The economy is also dependent on vulnerable
people to supply doctors and hospitals in the area with patients , let alone
prop up a billion dollar drug industry. Still as evidence becomes too
apparent to ignore, one day we might depend on clear air for our anti cancer
prevention like we depend on xrays today. or something like it.
Answer:
Treatment-resistant depression is highly prevalent in the community
and
is associated with a substantial socioeconomic burden. Approximately
17%
of individuals are expected to experience a major depressive episode
during
their lifetime, with a 1.7 greater risk in women compared with men
[Kessler
RC, et al. J Affect Disord 1994;30:15–26]. However, determining the
proportion
of those individuals who experience treatment-resistant depression is
complicated
by the varying definitions of treatment resistance and antidepressant
response
in the literature. Since remission is the ultimate goal for all
depressed
patients, a greater understanding of treatment-resistant depression is
needed,
as are effective management and treatment strategies. However,
although the
first step in treating depression is obvious—initiate antidepressant
therapy—
the optimal next step to take if the first fails remains to be
determined.
research into cleaner energy . Even if the cost of gas is higher in the
beginner, we now have the technology for cleaner air today! We have the
technology for emission free buses but the govt doesn't see the advantages
for people living longer or inncer city youth having a chance to breath
better . The govt should stop closing their eyes to poisoning the people at
the expense of energy companies. The govt can this researcher believes published would be mind boggling. Instead of telling 10 percent of youth
what happens when they take illegal drugs , the evidence will point to why
our bodies might die ten years sooner then someone else because of the
pollution in their state and if this isn't the most important thing in the
world , I don't know what is. This reasearcher
